The Landscape Architecture program was established in 2000 at our university, making it one of the earliest institutions in China to offer this program within the architecture department. In 2013, the program was granted the authority to award doctoral degrees in this field. Currently, it has been designated as a national first-class undergraduate program, a top-notch undergraduate education demonstration program in Liaoning Province, a top specialty program in higher education institutions in Liaoning Province, and a key construction program for top-notch disciplines in Liaoning Province. This program is designed to meet the demands of social development, such as urban construction, environmental protection, and regional revitalization. Students learn the relevant knowledge of regional landscape planning, public space landscape design, landscape architecture design, and landscape feature design. They are trained to become high-level professionals with the ability to plan and design landscapes.
